It is just a wish

Over the past few years;
I’ve watched you give a piece of your heart to someone else
I wish it would have been to me.
I’ve heard you declare your love to someone else,
I wish it would have been for me.
I’ve heard you whisper sweet nothings to someone else
I wish it would have been to my ears.
I’ve seen you laugh and be so happy with other’s someone,
I wish you would have been that happy with my company,
I’ve heard you bought gift and flowers for someone else,
I wish it would have been for me.
I’ve witness you wrote poems for someone else,
I wish it would have been for me.
I’ve heard you sang songs for someone else,
I wish it would have been for me.
Though it hurts to know, now I realized I’ve always wished,
I’ve always wished something that you never intended to give to me.
I wished like a child filled with hopes and dreams
Waiting for fairly godmother to grant my wish and give me your whole heart
Only to grow up one day realizing those wishes will remain as wishes.
